    How do I use the tripod or quick release?

    The hardware has a tripod holed milled into it for tripod use. If you use quick release we recommend the Universal Tripod Adapter Plate or Universal Arca Swiss L-Bracket.

    The harness system is one size fits all with 6 points of adjustment. We get lots of positive feedback from woman photographers.

    The systems are one size fits all, spanning 26" to 57" inch waist measurements.

    Does the system work for large telephotos like a 600mm?

    The carrier will not fail under the weight of your camera/lens setup. A 600mm will place your weight forward and for some, it becomes a bit awkward. The system will not fail, but it becomes a subjective matter of comfort.

    Can I add another camera or binocular holster after?

    Yes, we offer a modular side holster with camera or binocular hardware. Or the individual hardware for camera or binoculars can be purchased independently.

    Can I put my camera into the binocular carrier's receiver? Or vice versa?

    All hardware uses the same twist and lock system, so you can place your camera or binoculars interchangeably in any receiver.

    Supreme comfort and stability for my old arthritic hands. Another quality Cotton product.

    The CCS Hand Strap has been a huge help for my older, arthritic hands during long shoots. It offers excellent support while carrying my camera through extended sessions, and the sturdy yet soft material makes it incredibly comfortable to use—even during those never-ending crowd shots at concerts.

    The build quality is top-notch, just like you'd expect from Cotton Carrier, and it gives me the confidence to carry my gear one-handed when needed. The added stability and comfort are a real win for photographers who need extra support without sacrificing mobility.

    That said, finding the product info when ordering the G3 Harness System was a bit tricky. You have to leave the main harness page to learn more about the hand strap, which led me to miss it entirely during checkout. I ended up having to order it separately—$15 for the strap, and nearly the same amount again for shipping. Not ideal.

    Still, despite that hiccup, it's a fantastic accessory and I highly recommend it. And hey, Cotton Carrier—if you're reading this, I’d love the opportunity to test and review the new Hyker Slingbag. It looks like the perfect addition to a mobile photographer’s setup!

    Super handy!

    This is a great addition for my camera. I am only a bit unclear how to fix it to the camera - If I use the whole set up there are only a couple of turns on the screw and that doesn't seem great to me. The screw needs to be longer.

    I had previously purchased the L-Bracket, the flat hub, and the hand strap for my D500. The first thing I did when I bought the D780 was buy the same items for the new camera. I also bought the camera strap this time. Good practical products.

    It works for me, not me for it.

    I had a hand strap like this many years ago. It wore out. Being a Peak-Design user, I bought theirs as a replacement. Wrong!! It was so over designed and complicated. You can not change camera batteries with out taking the attachment plate off the camera. Doing this in the field with gloves on is a pain in the behind. And to re-attach the strap, you have to re-align it to fit your hand all over again.

    The Cotton hand strap is simple. It gives good support that even allows one-hand shooting. And access to camera batteries is simple and easy. It works for me, not me for it.
