How do I use the tripod or quick release?
The hardware has a tripod holed milled into it for tripod use. If you use quick release we recommend the Universal Tripod Adapter Plate or Universal Arca Swiss L-Bracket.

Does the system work for large telephotos like a 600mm?
The carrier will not fail under the weight of your camera/lens setup. A 600mm will place your weight forward and for some, it becomes a bit awkward. The system will not fail, but it becomes a subjective matter of comfort.
Can I add another camera or binocular holster after?
Yes, we offer a modular side holster with camera or binocular hardware. Or the individual hardware for camera or binoculars can be purchased independently.
Can I put my camera into the binocular carrier's receiver? Or vice versa?
All hardware uses the same twist and lock system, so you can place your camera or binoculars interchangeably in any receiver.
I give your L-bracket a solid 5 stars. I like your price point in comparison with the costs of Kirk or RRS L-brackets. I was initially concerned about your L-bracket's two piece build for stability and excess movement under load, however, it attached nicely on my Nikon D850 with no wobble or play, and along with the 10 degree angled hub for my older model Cotton Carrier vest, things fit well. The new design of the hand strap allows it to attach directly to the hub base and L-bracket without significantly blocking the opening of the battery door in the camera base unlike the old hand strap design and the longer universal AC base plate. And with the L-bracket's AC design I can forego my old Cotton Carrier universal adapter plate and its extra length and weight. The hub does attach a bit off center on the L-bracket from under the camera when fitted on a Kirk BH-1 ball head and its AC clamp, but there is enough of the mounting clamp's length engaged on the L bracket so that when using rotating lens collars which I have on the Nikon 70-200 f/4 and the Nikon 200-500 f/5.6 lenses things still feel balanced, safe and secure. The L-bracket did obstruct my side openings on the D850 but I don't usually use those as they are for headphone and external microphone connectors, HDMI mini-pin Type C connector and a USB port connector. The connector for the flash cable is on the camera's front and, although a tight fit, can be accessed with the L-bracket on.

Was just what I wanted. I am using it as a tripod plate on the R6 mkII and the R10. I am not using it as a l-bracket.
This bracket seems like a well-mage high quality piece of equipmemt. Trying to use this on a relatively small OM-1 mk II. Originally, i thought the screw slot on the bracket did not align with the screw socket on the camera, but Customer Service pointed out that the base could be reversed. This solved that problem, but then I discovered that the vertical arm was too long and interfered with the strap hub on the side of the camera. This needs to be snug to avoid twisting. I had to initiate a return.
Fits well and works well with the Z8. Opted for this instead of the original plate/hub combo. Allows camera to be nice and centered in the vest yet still leaves enough room to place on a tripod without any other fuss. Don't understand why everything has to be so expensive though.
I was not happy with this L bracket as it covered up my USB, HDMI, mic etc ports and also prevented me from using my Z to F converter as it stuck out too far from the base and prevented me from attaching the adapter. Love my carrier but really miss having a usable L bracket
